Robert Morhard

Robert Morhard received a BS in Materials Science and Engineering with a double major in Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2012. He then attended the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology - Zürich to earn a Masters in Biomedical Engineering. His Masters Thesis was focused on the use of photon propagation simulations to optimize a low-cost, near-infrared reflectance-based subcutaneous fat measuring device aimed at diagnosing infantile malnutrition. Outside of the lab, he enjoys long-distance running, traveling, hiking, camping and drinking coffee.
